Reaching New Heights Meeting Upcoming in January

I am so proud to be asked to present at the upcoming meeting combining cutting edge leaders in the areas of Facial Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and Oculoplastic Surgery. The meeting will be held from January 23rd to the 27th in Beaver Creek Colorado. This meeting will focus on the latest updates in treating aging conditions of the face.

This year I will be presenting on two exciting topics as updates for the community. The first relates to the off-label use of neuromodulators such as Botox Cosmetic and Dysport for the treatment of full facial wrinkles, marionette lines, brow lifting, brow shaping, and even changing the shape of the nose. Standard applications of Botox and Dysport are well known as they relate to use in the forehead and wrinkles around the eyes. Many patients don’t know about all of the uses for these medicines that have been FDA approved in the US for over 10 years.

I will also be presenting my experience using Perlane, Restylane, Juvederm Ultra XC, and Juvederm Ultra Plus XC in larger volume studies. We also routinely use a patient’s own fat harvested from the belly to rejuvenate the facial contours typically lost as we age. Contemporary approaches to achieving natural results in all types of facelifts depend upon restoring the volume of the face with naturally occurring fats and proteins. I will be presenting on 20 patients as they experienced a total restoration volume of up to 9 cubic centimeters of restorative proteins. Each injection takes only minutes with no down time or activity limitations. They experienced some really incredible results that will be presented in photographic images.

Stay tuned for blogs related to our practice in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley Arizona after I return from this trip. We love to keep our patients up to date with the most up to date advances.
