So Happy - Scottsdale, AZ Such a great decision. Has improved my self esteem greatly and helped me enjoy life more. My nose was very c-shaped and too large for my face. Dr Hobgood corrected the shape, straitened it, refined the tip and made my new nose fit on my face, beautifully. I used to dislike taking photos because I didn't feel like I ever looked like "me". Now I look like the "me" I always thought I should. So grateful.
Holy Nose - Scottsdale, AZ I've always hated the way my nose looked mainly because it wasn't cute and small. After debating for a few years I decided that I wanted to follow through and finally get what I have always wanted. Side Lump Growing on Wide Nose - Scottsdale, AZ I needed a rhinoplasty after discovering I had a deviated septum and my nose was going to the right with a lump. It was rapidly growing. I had 3 consultations before deciding to go with Dr Hobgood. My nose is healing very well I am very happy and satisfied with the results I would do it all over again if I had to this is the best investment ever. And yes an investment in myself definitely well worth it. I lost all my before and after pictures so as soon as I get my finals from dr. Hobgood I will upload them onto the website.
Revision Rhinoplasty - Scottsdale, AZ After a botched rhinoplasty 5 years prior, and extensive research I finally decided to move forward with my revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hobgood. He came highly recommended to me by several people in the aesthetics industry, and after meeting him I could see why. He takes the time to explain even the smallest details, sets realistic expectations, and really makes you feel that he genuinely cares about you. He gave me his cell number in case of any questions, and personally called me the evening of surgery to check on me. Aside from that, my results are perfect, and even better than I had hoped for. My nose fits my other facial features and is just perfect, even at just over a month out of surgery. I know it will continue to get even better as residual swelling goes down. I am so thankful for Dr. Hobgood, and would recommend anyone see him if considering facial plastic surgery.
58 Year-old Woman, Mama + Wife - Scottsdale, AZ Having my eyes "done" was the BEST thing I could have done! I was getting to the age where eye creams and injectables were no longer my best option. I felt like I always looked tired and that my sagging eyelid skin was adding age to my face- and I was right! This minimally invasive procedure required about 2 weeks recovery time, but was not painful or uncomfortable in the least. No one knows what I had done, but they consistently compliment my "well-rested" appearance. I love the way I look, and it has dramatically improved my self-confidence. I used to wear glasses everyday to conceal my lines, but I have started wearing contacts for the first time in my life! I would absolutely recommend this procedure to anyone that is considering it.
Restylane Filler for Tear Trough and Lips - Scottsdale, AZ I went to Dr. Hobgood because I wanted to get filler injected into my hollowed under eyes to minimize my dark circles and shadows and have my lips done. I've had lip injections once before by a different plastic surgeon using juvederm but never have had my eye area done. Since the eyes are a tricky area if not done properly (tear trough), I only wanted to see a FACIAL plastic surgeon to do this. After reading the reviews on RealSelf, I decided Dr. Hobgood would be my best choice. I am so happy I chose him. I arrived an hour early and his assistant applied numbing cream. No dental block was used, just numbing cream. He used Restylane (which also contains a numbing agent, xylocaine) for both my eyes and lips. He was VERY gentle. He took his time as I had explained to him that my previous injectable experience was quite traumatic. He explained the entire process before he started and even during. He made sure I was as comfortable as I could be during the injections. I assumed the eyes would be very painful to have done, but it was a breeze. They did not bruise and I am so happy with how they look. I no longer look so tired everyday. The skin is smooth and I no longer need to apply under eye concealer. My lips look amazing as well. They have just been slightly filled to get rid of any lines and to smooth and plump them up slightly. Very subtle enlargement to maintain a youthful appearance and so that my lipstick and gloss do not build up in any lines. I had no bruising or swelling under my eyes. The only thing you could see under my eyes were tiny red dots where the needle was inserted but was easily covered up with foundation. The red dots went away after 72 hours. My lips did not bruise at all! They were very swollen and tender for 48 hours just as Dr. Hobgood said . But after the 3rd day, I woke up to lips that were not swollen, just the perfect size I requested. My previous lip injection was 2 years ago and I went to a different board certified surgeon. Those results were very good but the surgeon used numbing cream AND dental blocks and I still felt the needle going through my lips which he had weaved through my entire upper lip and then dispersed the filler while he slowly pulled the needle out. I was very happy with the results, however it was a very rough and painful injection even with the numbing cream and dental block. My lips were very bruised for about a week. Dr. Hobgood's injection method for my lips was much more bearable and not scary at all. He is very gentle, no bruising at all and the results are natural looking. I no longer need to be scared to get my injectables knowing I'm in Dr. Hobgoods hands. I still look like me and the fillers are not obvious, just a refreshed version of myself.
19 Year Old Rhinoplasty Cosmetic and Deviated Septum - Scottsdale, AZ For the last couple years I have been unhappy with my nose but never thought my parents would let me do anything to it. I thought something had to be wrong with it as it had a bump on the side. I decided to ask my doctor what she thought and she referred me to an ear nose and throat doctor and to get scans of my nose. I met with the ear nose and throat doctor who told me he wouldn't be able to fix my nose fully with my deviated septum and collapsing nose. I finally figured out I did have something wrong! My parents finally eased up. The ear nose and throat doctor referred me to Dr. Hobgood. I asked around about him and had heard nothing but amazing things. I made a consultation with him and my mom and I went. He told me all he could do for me and I was sold! He was so friendly and warm. After the appointment my mom called insurance and we set up a surgery date! It all happened so quickly. I am now out of my cast and extremely happy with my results. I have posted pictures of before, during, and after surgery. It is still swollen-which should ease up in the next couple weeks.
Dr. Hobgood's skill as a Facial Plastic Surgeon is Unparalleled! Scottsdale, AZ I highly recommend Dr Hobgood as a facial plastic surgeon. He performed a reconstruction surgery on my face after a large piece of my cheek was removed due to skin cancer. His surgical skill is unparalleled. I had a hole in my cheek the size of quarter or larger and 6 months later, nobody can tell. We were not expecting such a large hole, so he had to change his surgical plan at a moments notice. Furthermore, because it was much worse than expected, it was extremely traumatic and emotional for me. I was devastated to see such a large hole in my face and Dr. Hobgood was very compassionate and helped to calm me while undergoing his reconstruction. He knew how upset I was and he was incredibly empathetic. I don't have enough praise or kind words for Dr. Hobgood as a person and facial plastic surgeon because he is phenomenal in all respects.

it's been almost 5 months after my rhinoplasty and I couldn't be more in love with my nose. Growing up I've always been insecure of it. In an effort to try and mask my nose's flaws I would contour it, edit pictures or try to divert attention from it. Unfortunately, this never solved my problem so I knew I had to do something about it.
Fast forward to last March at my consultation with Dr. Hobgood. I love that he knew exactly what I wanted before I even explained. He was straightforward, honest and caring. Immediately I could tell he was an expert in what he does just by conversing with him.
Before the actual procedure I was extremely nervous ( it's your face you know?) As soon as Dr. Hobgood came in to check on me, I broke down. He made me feel so comfortable and eased my mind. The procedure itself went by fast. The recovery wasn't painful, it was just annoying (breathing out of your mouth, sleeping face up).
I had my rhinoplasty in May and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I've ever made. It usually takes a year for a rhinoplasty to fully heal so I'm very excited to see what it will look like then. My nose finally compliments my face. If you want NATURAL results I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood. He won't give you the standard Instagram nose, he works with your features in order to give you the nose that you were meant to have. Thank you Dr. Hobgood, I've never felt more confident about myself than I do now.
Dr. Hobgood is THE BEST. Kind and compassionate, he has a perfect eye for facial aesthetics (he specializes in faces only) and is extremely knowledgeable in current procedures (attends and presents at conferences). I was referred to Dr. Hobgood by my niece and after seeing her eyelid surgery, I knew he was the surgeon for me. Dr. Hobgood and his staff are truly amazing! After researching surgeons and speaking to others who used Doc, I chose him to perform my surgery for a deviated septum which had been causing me problems and I am so glad I did...his years of experience and double board certification(s) were evident and contributed greatly to my successful outcome.

LIFE CHANGING!!!
I have been insecure about my nose for 10+ years, it was affecting my mental health so I finally decided to do something about it. I started doing research on plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale area, I saw Dr. Hobgood had really great reviews and specialized in facial plastic surgery so, I booked a consult with him. When I arrived, I was impressed with his beautiful, modern office and how well I was treated by his staff. They were so warm and welcoming! I met with Dr. Hobgood and immediately felt comfortable with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and, he is a genuine person. I knew right away I wanted him to do my Rhinoplasty. We came up with a plan that we both agreed on to improve my nose, something NATURAL looking that would still look like me. My surgery went smoothly, I recovered in less than 9 days and when I got my cast off and saw my nose for the first time I started crying tears of joy. I couldn't believe he exceeded my expectations and my new nose is better than I could have ever imagined! My breathing is exactly how it was before surgery, I didn't experience any pain and I don't even feel like I just had surgery 3 weeks ago! I am so glad I paid more to have the absolute best! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I if I had to, I would do it again!

After an accident causing a lot of damage to my nose and septum, Dr. Hobgood was recommended by my dentist, another highly competent medical professional. After consulting with Dr. Hobgood, I decided he was the right person to help repair the damage to my nasal cavity. What a great decision! He was skillfully able to bring my breathing back to good again (I am still healing but can tell that after the soreness and swelling goes away, I will be good as new). I also felt very confident that I was in extremely good hands. His staff is also pretty wonderful — helpful, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood for your facial plastic surgery needs.
The changes that I wanted were so minimal, and it was important that I found a doctor who understood that and could accomplish that for me. Dr. Hobgood was so understanding of what I wanted. He worked with me to come up with a game plan that him and I BOTH agreed on. He is such a lovely person, and his staff was beyond accommodating to me. Dr. Hobgood has changed my life! I had always contemplated getting a nose job since I was in 7th grade and I knew the minute I met Dr. Hobgood that he would be the one to do it. If you've never met Dr. Hobgood before, he is the most charismatic, genuine, and personable doctor I've ever met (and I work in Pharmaceutical Sales, so I know a lot of them!)

The greatest thing I love about Dr. Hobgood is that he works with what you have and enhances it. You won't look like you've had any work done, but you'll look like you have the nose you were supposed to be born with. I have completely natural results and my nose fits my personality now... IM SO IN LOVE!
Dr. Hobgood is double-board certified, caring, a true artist, and only works on the neck and up. If you have ANY hesitations in scheduling a consultation, I urge you to just meet with Dr. Hobgood as you will feel completely at-ease like I did and so many others before me living with absolutely perfect results.
I also highly recommend seeing Annie for your Botox, fillers, and skin care needs. I've had multiple sessions with her for Botox, microneedling, and lip fillers and I won't trust anyone else! I've had a terrible experience with fillers done by another provider in the area and Annie is the only person I trusted to do my fillers with completely natural results! I highly recommend going to see her as she makes you feel like you've known her for years, is fun, and extremely talented (she was trained extensively by Dr. Hobgood!) You won't regret anything done when walking through these doors!

Dr Hobgood is the textbook definition of a Top Doc. I had a cancer event that required facial plastic surgery repair. Then, adding to the adventure, I ended up being a "challenging" healer. Dr. Hobgood is the best. He is an expert at what he does and if you choose him for surgery, you will not need to worry or second guess anything. He is also a great person and will spend time with you, make you laugh and feel comfortable. I would recommend him a million times over.
Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!

I had a couple friends go to Hobgood, so I immediately knew I trusted him but once you go into the office for your consolation you are immediately greeted in such a positive and safe environment! You can truly tell Hobgood and his staff care about their patients. Dr. Hobgood calls you multiple times before and after the procedure to check on you, even on Sunday’s, and will drop everything to give you a call if you need anything - I thought this was so special. I am 3 months post op and my nose has healed beautifully so far. The results are so natural and I am overall very happy with my experience. Thank you. <3

Dr. Hobgood is the real deal. After scouring the country for the best rhinoplasty surgeon, I found him, and he didn't disappoint. I went into the procedure with a vision of what "perfect" would look like but tried to manage my expectations. When the cast came off, I was blown away—my results exceeded what I'd even considered to be perfect. If you're looking for a skilled, top-tier surgeon who will go above and beyond, Dr. Hobgood is your guy. I can't sing his praises enough.

My experience with Dr. Hobgood and his staff was and continues to be absolutely exceptional. I met Dr. Hobgood many years ago when I needed a bilateral excision from my upper lip that required the care of a highly-skilled and meticulous facial plastic surgeon. Fast forwarding to recent years, I've struggled with my naturally very hooded upper eyelid getting worse with age, and began to see rapid change in my under-eye area as well. The changes made me self-conscious, exhausted-looking, and challenged with every glance in the mirror to feel that I looked like myself. At 40, I felt I looked much older in my eye area than I physically felt overall. A consultation about my options with Dr. Hobgood led me to schedule upper and lower blepharoplasty. From consult to post-op, my experience was the perfect example of patient care at its very best. Dr. Hobgood has a warm personality and makes every patient feel supported. He is always accessible for questions and concerns, which is unbelievably important during the healing process when normal phases of facial plastic surgery recovery can appear jarring at times. Now for the results: incredible. A top board-certified facial plastic surgeon (Dr. Hobgood is ALSO a board-certified ENT) isn't one that agrees to every surgical ask of their patient, but one that provides expert counseling on procedures as well as outcome expectations. My shared goal with Dr. Hobgood was to look like myself with the upper and lower eye issues resolved, and that's exactly the result that was delivered to me. I have yet to see anyone I know that asks if I've had something done, but have never been told so many times that I look fantastic, better than I have in years. My eyes look natural and rested, and I have a youthful, fresh-faced appearance that is age-appropriate and enhancing of my features. Every hope I had for my outcome was achieved and then some. Lastly, I will add that I felt a bit foolish thinking about a facial plastic surgery procedure at 40, as if I was too young to consider it and should make peace with the changes until I arrived at an age most think of as more traditional and appropriate for correcting changes. I am so happy that I decided to ignore that feeling. If you're considering this procedure and have waited for the same reason, book the consultation. Having Dr. Hobgood perform my upper and lower blepharoplasty was the best decision I've made for myself and my confidence.
I did a ton of research on surgeons before I picked Dr. Hobgood and I am so happy that I did. My rhinoplasty ended up turning out great and very natural, which is what I was looking for. He was very educational, thoughtful, and kind through the whole process. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. Before having nose surgery with a chin implant and chin liposuction, Scott had a lot of questions. He felt at ease when talking to Dr. Hobgood and his staff about any of his issues or concerns. Scott appreciated that Dr. Hobgood was open, straightforward, and professional and that his results look very natural.
The last thing Debbie wanted to hear after her facial rejuvenation was, “Who is your surgeon?” She wanted to refresh her face but look natural afterwards. Dr. Hobgood listened to Debbie’s concerns and helped her achieve her desired results.

Before I had my procedures done, I had been very self conscious of my side profile. I thought about it all the time, and I felt really flawed. I finally made the decision to have the surgery and I’m glad I did. I no longer worry about my side profile, and people know something changed about me, but they don’t know what did. They just know I look better….I really do now have a boosted self confidence because I am not preoccupied by my appearance. I don’t think I could ever thank you enough.
I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood as a doctor for your needs regarding facial plastic surgery. My skin cancer doctor suggested that [Dr. Hobgood] may be able to perform a deep skin peel or laser to improve my appearance and help prevent recurrences of future skin cancers.
Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
You are such an amazing doctor, and really treated us as not just patients, but you really got to know us on an individual level. We are both doing very well, and Rachel’s nose is gorgeous. She absolutely loves it!
