43 Restalyne. Cannula Procedure for Tear Troughs - Scottsdale, AZ I had Restalyne injected into my tear troughs. It was painless. The cannula left no bruising and very little swelling. It was completely painless. This ws s a very well researched endeavor. I had a previous consult try to convince me to use a cocktail of fillers. I am glad I balked. I wish I had before and after pictures. I am really happy with the results. I might see if I can do more next time, but I trust my doctor's judgement.
Had Fillers by Many Different Injectors - Hit the Jackpot with Dr Hobgood! Scottsdale, AZ In terms of keeping an edge on "best kept secrets" in beauty: I almost want to keep Dr. Hobgood my own secret. However, I'm so pleased with my experience that it is only fair to the doctor to write a review. Over the years, I've seen at least a dozen different injectors. Most are "good" or at least good enough; but it is a whole new level when you get someone like Dr. Hobgood, who really understand aesthetics and the mechanics of the face. AREAS TREATED: Cheeks and a little to the corner of the mouth. One syringe - 1.5 CC. With just one syringe of Radiesse, I can see an excellent result to cheeks--can't stop looking in the mirror. We also put a little in the corner of my mouth, which has helped turn my frown upside down. That's not an easy task on the mouth, especially with Radiesse, which is my favorite product. By comparison, in the past, by another injector, I've had twice the amount (3CC's) and was barely able to notice a difference. One note: he is generally booking out a month or more in advance. This is my second visit to Dr. Hobgood. My first visit was a couple years ago and I forgot how good he was. I had tried to get in to see him, got impatient with the wait and then (regretfully) saw another injector who could get me in quicker. After today, I'm reminded that Dr. Hobgood is worth the wait. Price is reasonable, which maybe explains the wait to get in. A little bit about me: I've been doing fillers since they first started becoming mainstream, back in the 1990's--remember collagen? I've done fat transfer, Sculptra and just about every single Juvederm / Restylane product on the market (not a fan of HA fillers in general - I'm pretty dead set against them except for a tiny, tiny bit in the lips). Through trial and error, along with lots of research, I've come to trust Radiesse and Sculptra, but with both of these: expertise of the injector is a make or break. Happy to answer any questions. I may post a couple photos if I can figure out how to disguise my identity 🙂
Tear Trough Filler Injections - Scottsdale, AZ I have gone to Dr hobgood twice and have my third appointment in a couple of weeks. Before getting this procedure I was really nervous, I had been researching and found out this is a very sensitive area. The injector has to be very skilled and gentle, and that is what Dr. Hobgood has demonstrated. I'm so glad I went to him and will never go to anyone else, his price is much worth it. I experienced very minimal swelling and no visible bruising.
Rhino/Septo/Chin Augmentation - Scottsdale, AZ I had consultations with 4 different surgeons before choosing Dr. Hobgood. Out of all of them I felt like only Dr. Hobgood really spent the time with me to explain my issues and concerns and walk through the details of what would be done. I didn't feel any pressure to go through with any of the procedures and several times he mentioned that one of the options was to do nothing or only deal with the breathing issue and not make any cosmetic changes. There was no time afterwards spent with the "closer" trying to offer deals and incentives to push me into the surgery. I was actually surprised to simply be handed the estimate and told to call if I had any questions. I am now one week post op, I just got the cast off my nose and I am very happy with the results so far. I have a before/after pic that I mocked up prior to the surgery and the real after picture is almost identical. Since this is only one week there is obviously still swelling from the surgery. The best part is that for the first time that I can remember I can actually breathe easily through my nose. I have some slight numbness below my lip and some sensitivity at one corner of the implant which I believe is very normal at this stage, but otherwise I feel like nothing even happened. Dr. Hobgood and his staff made every effort to make the surgery and recovery as painless as possible. I'll post the "official" before/after picks in a few months.
47 Yrs Old Rhinoplasty! So Happy! - Scottsdale, AZ So Happy !! I had my rhinoplasty two weeks ago today is day 13 I am so happy. My nose is so amazing. I have a long face and had a huge dorsal hump and over projected drupe. the hump was huge! I look like gonzo from Muppet's. And I am OLD! LOL Dr Hobgood explained everything in detail. Was very up front about the dangers and what could go wrong. And took careful care to avoid those scenarios.
Face and Eye Lift - Scottsdale, AZ It is difficult to adequately express how grateful I am to have found the rare plastic surgeon who is not only superbly competent and professional but also genuinely caring and committed to provide his patient with the best possible results. Dr. Todd Hobgood is a wonderful, genuinely warm human being who takes all the time needed to listen to your concerns and then works with you to achieve your expectations. I felt totally relaxed and secure in his care. He carefully monitored my recovery after surgery even periodically scheduling appointments for me all last year. 20 Year Old Female: Nose Job - Scottsdale, AZ Since my mid teens I have been dissatisfied with the shape and size of my nose. I had a bulbous tip and a slight bump on my nasal bridge. After meeting with several surgeons, I chose Dr. Hobgood to preform the surgery based on his phenomenal academic background, bedside manner, skill, and expertise. I felt that he really took the time to listen to what I wanted and was there every step of the way. I am in love with the results. It is even better than I could image. Dr. Hobgood is truly an artist and I highly recommend him!
19, Rhinoplasty. Changed my Life! 🙂 - Scottsdale, AZ In junior high, I started to notice a bump growing on my nose. It didn't bother me too much because I assumed that no one would notice it. The bump kept growing and by the time I entered high school, people began to notice and I became insecure with the way I looked. The bridge of my nose protruded outward from every angle. From the side, the bone jutted upward making my nose look lumpy. Looking straight on, sharp edges protruded on each side stretching my skin and creating shadows on the sides of my nose. "Lisa, you have dirt on youroh, nevermind." I would get this comment very often. People would sometimes try to rub the "dirt" off of my nose then realize that it was the shape of my nose that casted shadows onto my face. Even after high school, I was still insecure about the way my nose looked. I wouldn't look people straight into their eyes when I talked to them, and as strange as it sounds, I would try not to stand directly under a light to avoid shadows appearing on my nose. Even my "friends" would make fun of me for my nose. I would pretend like it didn't bother me, but actually I would cry myself to sleep. I struggled with the decision of getting a nose job. I didn't know where to turn. It was an embarrassing subject to bring up to my parents, and when I did, they brushed it off and said "Your nose is fine." It wasn't fine. I felt like they didn't understand me. At 19 years old, my aunt reached out to me and offered to help. She was extremely supportive and made my decision of getting surgery easy. She flew me out from Chicago to her house in Arizona. Her friend had just undergone rhinoplasty and highly recommended Dr. Hobgood. After the consultation with Dr. Hobgood, I felt completely at ease and 100% confident with my decision to undergo rhinoplasty. He's the most personable, intelligent doctor that I had ever met who genuinely cares for his patients. He understood me and knew exactly what I wanted. On the day of the surgery, I was completely calm because I knew that I was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. A week after the surgery, the bandage came off and I was so happy that I cried for three hours. The bump was gone, my nose was smooth, and the "dirt" was permanently washed from my face. I'm 21 now and couldn't be happier with the outcome of my surgery. Not only did it change my appearance, but it changed my personality, too. I'm not the shy, insecure girl who hides in the shadows anymore (literally). Instead, I'm a beautiful, secure woman who no longer feels like she has something to hide. Dr. Hobgood has changed my life and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me. I couldn't recommend a better doctor for cosmetic surgery. He is a master at his profession and is overall an admirable person who treats his patients with utmost sincerity.
Brilliant Work - Scottsdale, AZ I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hobgood and his staff. He came recommended by another ENT doctor. I had a very complex situation with a deviated septum and part of my nose structure was collapsing on one side as well. I need both the inside of my nose corrected so I could breath properly again and I wanted to have the cosmetic portion fixed as well. Dr. Hobgood is very knowledgeable and extremely talented. He is also a very pleasant person. I cannot only breath through my nose for the first time in many, many years but my nose looks wonderful too!
Best Doctor Voluma! Very Pleased Once Again and He's So Kind. - Scottsdale, AZ Dr hobgood is the only dr I trust with my face after bad experience elsewhere I still have some fluid retention on my cheek caused by another injector. Dr hobgood has treated me with hyalase then a few months later voluma to even it out and add more volume. I am a perfectionist and he is as well. Going back this month for touch up. He's a 5* Doctor for sure as all his other reviews say! Only bad thing is he so far! If you are from AZ you're lucky to have him. Update unfourtunatly, the first times as I said with Dr hobgood were so great voluma to cheeks about 9 months ago I flew back for my next fill. He made a mistake injecting it too high voluma has to stay well below the tear trough or it can ridge it's too thick. All the other times he stayed low and on the sides. The last time he was way too high tear trough border And yes I got a ridge had to fly back after waiting for 3 weeks as he was on vacation he used hylauronidaise I left unhappy of course. He knew that. Is he a good injector ? Yes would I trust him again yes I think he didn't have enough experience with voluma as it was new there then not like here in Canada. I came back here found a new injector and it turned out great Dr hobgood didn't want to refill said I had to wait 3 or 4 months. If you read this Dr I was injected eyes restalyne to camoflauge the bit of remaining ridge and volift cheeks. Still love ya. You know that but I wish you would have finished it turned out great. Volift is a great product maybe similar to voluma but seems to stay longer where voluma swells then you feel you need a touch up in 2 weeks. Anyway nice man great Dr I just wish as I'm sure he does we could have ended with better results I was kind of left in the dust I guess So Dr hobgood I know you won't inject voluma there again bet it hasn't happened since my only suggestion is to make sure you finish what you started. If A doctor here could fix it right away you could have too 🙂 still much respect it was a mistake.

it's been almost 5 months after my rhinoplasty and I couldn't be more in love with my nose. Growing up I've always been insecure of it. In an effort to try and mask my nose's flaws I would contour it, edit pictures or try to divert attention from it. Unfortunately, this never solved my problem so I knew I had to do something about it.
Fast forward to last March at my consultation with Dr. Hobgood. I love that he knew exactly what I wanted before I even explained. He was straightforward, honest and caring. Immediately I could tell he was an expert in what he does just by conversing with him.
Before the actual procedure I was extremely nervous ( it's your face you know?) As soon as Dr. Hobgood came in to check on me, I broke down. He made me feel so comfortable and eased my mind. The procedure itself went by fast. The recovery wasn't painful, it was just annoying (breathing out of your mouth, sleeping face up).
I had my rhinoplasty in May and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I've ever made. It usually takes a year for a rhinoplasty to fully heal so I'm very excited to see what it will look like then. My nose finally compliments my face. If you want NATURAL results I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood. He won't give you the standard Instagram nose, he works with your features in order to give you the nose that you were meant to have. Thank you Dr. Hobgood, I've never felt more confident about myself than I do now.
Dr. Hobgood is THE BEST. Kind and compassionate, he has a perfect eye for facial aesthetics (he specializes in faces only) and is extremely knowledgeable in current procedures (attends and presents at conferences). Dr. Hobgood and his staff are truly amazing! After researching surgeons and speaking to others who used Doc, I chose him to perform my surgery for a deviated septum which had been causing me problems and I am so glad I did...his years of experience and double board certification(s) were evident and contributed greatly to my successful outcome.

LIFE CHANGING!!!
I have been insecure about my nose for 10+ years, it was affecting my mental health so I finally decided to do something about it. I started doing research on plastic surgeons in the Scottsdale area, I saw Dr. Hobgood had really great reviews and specialized in facial plastic surgery so, I booked a consult with him. When I arrived, I was impressed with his beautiful, modern office and how well I was treated by his staff. They were so warm and welcoming! I met with Dr. Hobgood and immediately felt comfortable with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and, he is a genuine person. I knew right away I wanted him to do my Rhinoplasty. We came up with a plan that we both agreed on to improve my nose, something NATURAL looking that would still look like me. My surgery went smoothly, I recovered in less than 9 days and when I got my cast off and saw my nose for the first time I started crying tears of joy. I couldn't believe he exceeded my expectations and my new nose is better than I could have ever imagined! My breathing is exactly how it was before surgery, I didn't experience any pain and I don't even feel like I just had surgery 3 weeks ago! I am so glad I paid more to have the absolute best! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I if I had to, I would do it again!

After an accident causing a lot of damage to my nose and septum, Dr. Hobgood was recommended by my dentist, another highly competent medical professional. After consulting with Dr. Hobgood, I decided he was the right person to help repair the damage to my nasal cavity. What a great decision! He was skillfully able to bring my breathing back to good again (I am still healing but can tell that after the soreness and swelling goes away, I will be good as new). I also felt very confident that I was in extremely good hands. His staff is also pretty wonderful — helpful, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood for your facial plastic surgery needs.
The changes that I wanted were so minimal, and it was important that I found a doctor who understood that and could accomplish that for me. Dr. Hobgood was so understanding of what I wanted. He worked with me to come up with a game plan that him and I BOTH agreed on. He is such a lovely person, and his staff was beyond accommodating to me. Dr. Hobgood has changed my life! I had always contemplated getting a nose job since I was in 7th grade and I knew the minute I met Dr. Hobgood that he would be the one to do it. Dr. Hobgood is double-board certified, caring, a true artist, and only works on the neck and up. If you have ANY hesitations in scheduling a consultation, I urge you to just meet with Dr. Hobgood as you will feel completely at-ease like I did and so many others before me living with absolutely perfect results.
I also highly recommend seeing Annie for your Botox, fillers, and skin care needs. I've had multiple sessions with her for Botox, microneedling, and lip fillers and I won't trust anyone else! I've had a terrible experience with fillers done by another provider in the area and Annie is the only person I trusted to do my fillers with completely natural results! I highly recommend going to see her as she makes you feel like you've known her for years, is fun, and extremely talented (she was trained extensively by Dr. Hobgood!) You won't regret anything done when walking through these doors!

Couldn't find a better doctor who is more skilled, professional and talented. He has outstanding social skills, is confident, engaging and concerned about his patients. Dr Hobgood is the textbook definition of a Top Doc. I had a cancer event that required facial plastic surgery repair. Then, adding to the adventure, I ended up being a "challenging" healer. Dr. Hobgood is the best. He is an expert at what he does and if you choose him for surgery, you will not need to worry or second guess anything. He is also a great person and will spend time with you, make you laugh and feel comfortable. I would recommend him a million times over.
Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!

My experience with Dr. Hobgood and his staff was and continues to be absolutely exceptional. I met Dr. Hobgood many years ago when I needed a bilateral excision from my upper lip that required the care of a highly-skilled and meticulous facial plastic surgeon. Fast forwarding to recent years, I've struggled with my naturally very hooded upper eyelid getting worse with age, and began to see rapid change in my under-eye area as well. The changes made me self-conscious, exhausted-looking, and challenged with every glance in the mirror to feel that I looked like myself. At 40, I felt I looked much older in my eye area than I physically felt overall. A consultation about my options with Dr. Hobgood led me to schedule upper and lower blepharoplasty. From consult to post-op, my experience was the perfect example of patient care at its very best. Dr. Hobgood has a warm personality and makes every patient feel supported. He is always accessible for questions and concerns, which is unbelievably important during the healing process when normal phases of facial plastic surgery recovery can appear jarring at times. Now for the results: incredible. A top board-certified facial plastic surgeon (Dr. Hobgood is ALSO a board-certified ENT) isn't one that agrees to every surgical ask of their patient, but one that provides expert counseling on procedures as well as outcome expectations. My shared goal with Dr. Hobgood was to look like myself with the upper and lower eye issues resolved, and that's exactly the result that was delivered to me. I have yet to see anyone I know that asks if I've had something done, but have never been told so many times that I look fantastic, better than I have in years. My eyes look natural and rested, and I have a youthful, fresh-faced appearance that is age-appropriate and enhancing of my features. Every hope I had for my outcome was achieved and then some. Lastly, I will add that I felt a bit foolish thinking about a facial plastic surgery procedure at 40, as if I was too young to consider it and should make peace with the changes until I arrived at an age most think of as more traditional and appropriate for correcting changes. I am so happy that I decided to ignore that feeling. If you're considering this procedure and have waited for the same reason, book the consultation. Having Dr. Hobgood perform my upper and lower blepharoplasty was the best decision I've made for myself and my confidence.
I did a ton of research on surgeons before I picked Dr. Hobgood and I am so happy that I did. My rhinoplasty ended up turning out great and very natural, which is what I was looking for. He was very educational, thoughtful, and kind through the whole process. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. His office staff are also very sweet any time I would call or go in for an appointment. I recommend Dr. Hobgood to anyone who is thinking about a rhinoplasty. First of all, right off the bat, Dr Hobgood has the best bedside manner I’ve ever met from a plastic surgeon. Right from the beginning, he was so kind and knew exactly what I wanted before the words left my mouth. I had a revision rhinoplasty- (lateral osteotomy) and a lip lift (to make my top lip look larger, since I have thin lips.) Price wise: INCREDIBLE. for both the procedures, this was right in my budget and was more affordable than many plastic surgeons in the area. For the quality and affordability, as well as his overal understanding, expertise, and precise work, don’t look any further! Dr. Hobgood should be your #1 choice. Seriously. Dr. Hobgood and his team are truly something special. Over a year ago I sent in an inquiry for a rhinoplasty to Dr. Hobgoods office. A few minutes later I received a call from him personally, and he walked me through all of my questions. Months later when I met with him for my consultation, he talked with my family and I for over an hour, explaining what I could realistically achieve with the surgery. Our goals were aligned and I immediately knew I wanted him as my doctor. The night before my surgery he called to check in on how I was feeling and gave me the reassurance I needed. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous going into surgery but Dr. Hobgood and his team took such great care of me, keeping me distracted with conversation until I went under anesthesia. He even called my family a few hours after I got home from surgery to see how I was doing. If you’re looking for the right doctor, I seriously can’t recommend him enough. Dr. Hobgood turned one of my biggest insecurities into one of my best features. He made sure I still looked like my authentic self and now more of my other facial features pop. Aside from his incredible work, he’s one of the most genuine, caring, and hardworking doctors you’ll ever meet. He truly wants his patients to be happy and confident in their own skin, and treats you like a member of his family. Before having nose surgery with a chin implant and chin liposuction, Scott had a lot of questions. He felt at ease when talking to Dr. Hobgood and his staff about any of his issues or concerns. Scott appreciated that Dr. Hobgood was open, straightforward, and professional and that his results look very natural.

Before I had my procedures done, I had been very self conscious of my side profile. I thought about it all the time, and I felt really flawed. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood as a doctor for your needs regarding facial plastic surgery. My skin cancer doctor suggested that [Dr. Hobgood] may be able to perform a deep skin peel or laser to improve my appearance and help prevent recurrences of future skin cancers.
Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
You are such an amazing doctor, and really treated us as not just patients, but you really got to know us on an individual level. We are both doing very well, and Rachel’s nose is gorgeous. She absolutely loves it!
