Have Waited So Long for This - Scottsdale, AZ So I have been following a lot of peoples updates on here and it has all been very helpful and informative, so I have decided to start posting my experiences to hopefully help someone as well in the future. I have always had a problem with my nose. Although I am really happy with the front view of my face I have always hated my profile. No one has ever made fun of me or anything, it's just something that I am very critical about for myself. So my husband and I decided that it's time for me to finally get a nose job! He has never seem an issue with it but he knows how much it bothers me so he is very supportive, all my family is actually very supportive. I have already had my pre op and only have one more week before the big day! I have 100% trust in my surgeon, he specializes in facial plastic surgery and I feel he understands everything I want, which is overall my dorsal hump being filed down and tip taken in a bit. It's not as easy as that, all the steps he has to do to get my end result but that's the jist of it. My MIL will be watching my two children for the first couple of days while my husband will take care of me. Has anyone found it hard to take care of two toddlers days after surgery difficult? Can't wait to show everyone the end results 🙂 I officially only have one more week until the big day! I know it is going to go by so fast too. I feel I have mentally prepared myself as good as I can, alot has to do with reading others past experiences as well. For one, I expect to not like my nose when my cast first comes off, and to not see any "good" results until about 3 weeks either. If i set myself up that way, I may be pleasantly surprised. I actually have a breast augmentation consult scheduled tomorrow, my nose doc said I have no restrictions on when I can get that done and he will leave the time frame up to the other surgeon. He just said for me to remind them about being careful about putting anything over my face. So I am hoping I can get that done 3 to 4 weeks after my rhino. We will see Well it is finally here, tomorrow is my surgery! I am starting to get a little nervous but im super excited at the same time. I think I am underestimating the recovery from this. I try and always be "super woman" when it comes to taking care of my kids and husband etc. but im trying to remember that its going to take more than a couple of days before I start to feel pretty good. That is probably going to be the hardest part for me. Still pretty nervous about the anesthesia but from what I hear I will go to sleep and wake up like no time has passed at all, so that's a little reassuring as well. Anyway cant wait to post some "after" pictures for you guys 🙂 I will write more later when I'm not on my phone, but so far so good. Everything is done and I feel fine so far. I can even breath out of my nose! So far it not too bad, I think I have been talking to people to much because it's starting to bleed a lot. I have thrown up 4 times so far, it's bit too horrible. My throat ha a little tickle but I'm trying not to cough because it makes my nose hurt. It's not too horrible* Slept pretty good last night actually, I have not been able to keep anything down though, I think it has to do with the blood draining in my stomach. My actual nose doesn't hurt, it's more like a dull achy pain. I have been keeping up on my pain meds so I'm sure that's helping. I'm having a hard time cleaning it though, I don't want to be too aggressive, I have just been doing a little bit of the ocean nasal spray then q-tips with hydrogen peroxide around the nostrils followed by the antibiotic ointment around the nostrils. After doing that I still feel like there is so much leftover blood, so not sure if I'm cleaning it right or not Its day 3 and I feel pretty good. I am more swollen today, but i think thats just because i have been a lot more active (like making breakfast taking care of dog and kids). My husband went and got my kids from my MIL this morning i havent seen my son yet (4) he went straight to preschool, but my daughter (2) wouldn't even let me hold her at first 🙁 shes warming up to me now, I do look a little scary lol. I am no longer bleeding alot and took my drip pad off, and I did have my doc call in an anti nausea medication which has been wonderful, I can finally keep food down 🙂 I am also going to try and just manage pain with Tylenol today as well so we will see how that goes Pain wise today it has not been too bad, yesterday was the worst for pain but I slept the best last night. I think im having a hard time with the pain because I am doing so much too early. My kids are home and although I have help from my husband its still hard not being in "mom mode" and just getting things done especially hard with my daughter having special needs . I have only been taking half a pain med because they make me feel weird and I don't like that but it doesn't really help mask the pain. Anyhoo, its no biggie I can deal with it, I just feel like im kind of going backwards, more bruising and swelling today and started bleeding again. I will post a picture soon. Don't mind my hair in these pictures, it's really the last thing I'm worried about right now 😉 Today has been the best so far. Pain is minimal, swelling has moved down to my cheeks. I was able to clean and cook today with no problem so that was nice. I noticed that my nostrils are a little crooked but that could just be from the pressure from the cast and the swelling, we will see, its starting to burn and itch a little bit under the cast as well, I can breath a little bit better today and smell a little bit too I haven't washed my face yet because I don't want the tape to come off, when do most people feel comfortable doing that? So far today has been great! Very minimal pain, I have only taken Tylenol today to manage any discomfort. I took a shower it was a lot easier avoiding my nose than I imagined it would be, I have returned to all my regular activities like cooking cleaning etc. even cut my husband hair. Will defiantly hold off on working out until the 6 week mark is up. I can already tell the skin under my nose is super oily, I hope I dont break out, I usually have clear skin that tends to run on the dry side, o well if I do. Ready for my chipmunk cheeks to disappear So tomorrow will mark one week since my surgery, so far it hasn't been as bad as I expected. Nothing too new today, the swelling in my jaw has almost disappeared. Everything has been great today then I wasn't paying attention to my daughter sitting next to me on the couch and she flinged her arm right in my face and hit me right on my nose, although she is only 16lbs it still hurt soooo bad. My husband assures me it probably didn't screw up my nose, but now my pain has gotten really bad again. Oh well I need to pay closer attention when sitting next to my little ones 🙂 I have been having little panic attacks before I go to bed because it still freaks me out only being able to breath through my mouth and I don't really think about that until I'm laying in bed, during the day I an breath a little through my nostrils but I seem to clog up before bed too. Chewing still hurts and yawning especially. Well that's all I can think of right now Sooo the cast came off today..and overall I am very happy! They first pulled out he stitches which was not as bad as I anticipated, the worst was the cast coming off, not horrible but I didn't like the pressure feeling of it came off very uncomfortable. So then it came time for me to look in the mirror, honestly I was shocked at first by how swollen the tip looked, but because of this website I knew to expect that, so I wasn't too freaked out. It was so weird seeing me with a straight nose too, I couldn't belive it! Anyways my surgeon said it's exactly where he wants it to be swelling and all and knows that it will turn out to be great. He said it's the nose that was meant for my face and I couldn't agree more. I am going to continue to tape the bridge not only to help with swelling but to not feel so exposed as well. I have two small children and and 11month old 90lb rhodesian ridgeback so I am still very protective of my new nose lol. Anyways I'm looking forward to see how much it improves in the next coming weeks I also over empathized with my surgeon that I rather look under done than over done. I would even be ok with a little hump more so than and overly scooped nose. I think he did exactly what I wanted I was actually really nervous to show my parents, but they were both very happy. My mom said it reminds her of the nose I had before I broke it (softball to the face) and that makes her so happy. She was afraid that I wouldn't look like "me" Just washed my new nose do the first time, and it sure felt weird! Where my hump used to be there is a sharp tingling pain when I put pressure on it. I have it taped up now for bed time and if I'm not going anywhere I will probably just keep it taped to help with settling and swelling. My husband is still in shock (a good shock) that I don't have a bump anymore So far it has been great, everyone loves my new nose and I do too. I have only been out in public a couple of times, but I feel like my scar isn't super noticeable, bruises are completely gone and that's the only thing that I feel makes it look like I had a nose job. There is still some swelling, I do tape it every night (and day If I don't go anywhere) to help with it. I can't believe how fast my recovery has been though, I feel like I am back to my 100% self with daily activities (except working out). I don't really have any pain at this point either just a slight achy feeling at times. So today I went grocery shopping and picked my son up from preschool. I was defiantly trying to avoid talking to people because you can still see my scar, but I still had some new found confidence as well. I'm still taping during the day if I don't have to go anywhere and at night to help with swelling. Well thankfully for this site and others reviews I feel somewhat prepared for the "the tip of my nose looks huge" phase. Today has been that day. I think it has to do with a couple of different factors, one being im now getting used to my new nose so instead of it being so new and different I am critiquing it a little more, also since its starting to drop a little bit and a little more swollen (hopefully) the tip looks huge and long to me. It has only been three weeks and I know there is still going to be a lot of changing so I am not going to obsess over it just yet. Will post some pictures in a bit I find it extremely helpful to put my before and after pictures right against each other so I can see the huge improvement. I'm still loving my new nose and got a really nice compliment from another plastic surgeon (for my boob job) this last week So I'm just a couple of days shy of it being my one month post op. I can't believe how fast it has gone by especially the healing part. So what's new latly, nothing too much still happy with my nose, I officially have my smile back which is so nice, I still feel a bit tugging between my lip and nose but nothing too uncomfortable. I have been noticing my "dissolvable" stitches are starting to undo themselves and come out too which I'm pretty sure is normal from other stuff I have been reading. Well that is it for now I will update again when I have my one month post op with my doctor. Had my one month post op with my surgeon, everything went good, he recommended that I start massaging my incision spot with some scar cream ( its a little red and bumpy) so I went ahead and ordered Mederma and will start using that. Im still super happy with my nose, love it more some days than others, but still overall best decision ever! sorry I havent posted sooner, but I recently had a boob job so that kind of took attention over my nose for the last couple weeks, fyi the pain from my boob job was WAY worse than the pain or discomfort I had from my rhinoplasty. Anyways still loving my nose, no regrets! I have a slight bump on my bridge but its not too bad, some days its more noticeable and somedays I cant hardly see it. I have two hard bumps on the inside of my nose where my incision is. I think it may be scar tissue, I have been massaging it with mederma per my surgeons recommendations. I did not scar well with my c sections so im a little worried that my scar will be a little noticeable. I think that is about it with the new updates 🙂 will post some pics soon Just had my 5 month post op with my doctor, nothing too new to update on, being only 5 months post is still early in rhino healing terms, my scar looks so much better, it's still noticeable to me but he said it will fade even more with time. I was feeling like the tip of my nose was still kinda long but after watching that new show botched I have learned that I much rather have projection in my nose than none at all since based on that show it seems like that where a lot of rhinos go bad. My doctor said there will still be some gradual changes in the next few months like more definition in the tip and less bumpy feeling on ridge. One thing that I have really been trying to remind myself throughout this whole process is not to be overly critical of my new nose, which is hard for us people that have spent so much time being critical and over analyzing our old noses, I'm trying not to fall back into that strictly out of habit. I have to remember to look at my face as a whole and not just zero in on my nose. Overall I still love my new nose! I went through some old pictures and some news ones and tried to get some before and after comparisons that I will post
Asymmetrical Cheek Augmentation - Phoenix, AZ Dr. Hobgood did an excellent job bringing symmetry back to my face. He's eye for symmetry and practical approach to a solution were the main reasons I chose him as my Dr. We did a cheek implant and fat transfer for the first procedure and then had to follow up with a Voluma injection. Highly recommended.
Dr. Hobgood in Scottsdale, AZ- Love my New Nose!! Rhino, Tip, and Full Sinus Surgery- I Was a Mess!! - Gilbert, AZ I will post pictures soon- they took before pix at the office that I will obtain and then add what I look like today. I had a really bad nose; really boxy, long, tall, crooked and just big. It didn't fit my tiny face or body at all. Dr Hobgood knew going into it that it was a tough nose to work on- he told me!! He's very easy to talk to, I consulted with 8 doctors before chosing him. I also have very thick skin; very oily and dark complected which means a much longer recovery time. So it's been about 4 months and I realize I still have swelling which I expected but my nose looks so so so much better! It is no longer the focal point of my face. It's staright, much smaller and more femanine- but yes still swollen at the tip.. I can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now. I went into this well educated- make sure you read as much as you can so you have a realistic expectation. My nose will never be perfect, but it's so much better and I'm very happy I did it. He's also done Juvederm under my eyes and botox for me, very happy with that as well. I'm due to get a refill soon! I'll grab my b4 pix and post later in Jan 🙂
Excellent Doctor for Filler Correction / Hylauronidaise - Scottsdale, AZ I flew in from Alberta to Scottsdale to see dr hobgood for a correction to tear trough filler done by another doctor. He is so easy to talk to and very kind. If you need correction don't be scared go see him! He did a great job. I chose he because he is rated #1 in pheonix for facial plastics and is known to have a great bedside manner. He was also booked but came in early twice to treat me as I was from out of town.
Restylane and Perlane in Tear Trough and Lower Jaw Line I previously had Juvederm injected into my marionette lines and had a horrible experience. The injector hit a vein and I had an occlusion. If you know what that is, it isn't pretty. Needless to say, I was nervous and was not going to let anyone but a plastic surgeon inject a filler into my face . Dr Hobgood takes his time, and is very gentle and I completely trusted him. The swelling has subsided, and I love my filler.
Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty - Scottsdale, AZ I'm a 47 year old female. My nostrils have always been crooked, one was round and one was narrow. Over the last few years I have developed a chronic sore in the narrow one in the fold and assumed it was because I was getting older. I felt that a plastic surgeon would be able to straighten it out. In my search for a doctor, I looked at plastic surgeons, then found Dr. Hobgood who is both a facial plastic surgeon and an ENT. In researching him I just felt he would be a good doctor to consult, and it's a good thing I did because we discovered my septum was so crooked that it would need to be straightened before anything else could be fixed. I ended up having two surgeries at one time: the necessary surgery-the septum part, then elective surgery-removing small bump at the top of my nose, making the tip smaller (I might as well as long as I was having surgery!) He also placed something inside that would hold my nostrils out and make them flatter. The surgery went well (I'm a good patient and this was my fifth surgery), I was home a few hours after waking up. Three days later I couldn't stand the cast so I took it off (my instructions said if it fell off that was ok, I figured I could help it off!). Healing went well and swelling was gone for the most part after a couple of weeks. Bruising was minimal. He did say that it can continue to get smaller and softer for a year or longer but that would be minimal. I am very pleased and happy I got this done. The chronic sore is gone, but also the crooked end, and I am not embarrassed for people to see it!
Absolutely Amazing. He Took Years Off My Face - Scottsdale, AZ I decided to update my review after seeing several of my patients after their return from their treatment with Dr. Hobgood. I continue to be amazed by his work. After working with some good plastic surgeons in the valley, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hobgood. I have been a patient of his for well over a year now and continue to be amazed by the results. My colleagues and patients continue to comment about how well rested and youthful I appear. The results are quite natural and not overdone. However, the true testament of his skills have been my patients' results. In working with the over 50 year old population, I have seen several patients whose treatment with Dr. Hobgood has ranged from the elective cosmetic (ex face lift) to the more demanding reconstructive treatment for deformities caused by cancerous lesions slowly eroding their face. The results have been phenomenal! There is obviously a reason that I and many of my colleagues have voted Dr. Hobgood the best facial plastic surgeon in the Valley. There are many good surgeons in Phoenix. But, if you are looking for a GREAT plastic surgeon who is a master of his craft and highly respected and trusted by his peers, then this is the one.
Best Doctor - Only One I'll Ever Trust with my Face. I wanted to eliminate the brown spots on my forehead and cheeks. Also, minimize wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. Friends tell me my skin looks smooth and youthful.
Excellent ENT - Scottsdale, AZ I had skin grafting on my eyelid when I was 15. Over time the eyelid began to droop affecting my vision. My eyes no longer were even close to matching. Dr. Hobgood removed the previous scar tissue and turned it sideways to correct the problem. He tightened my other eyelid so that both eyes would now match.

Couldn't find a better doctor who is more skilled, professional and talented. He has outstanding social skills, is confident, engaging and concerned about his patients. We interviewed three other cosmetic surgeons from La Jolla, CA to Scottsdale, AZ prior to meeting Dr. Hobgood. However, once my husband and I met with Dr. Hobgood for a consultation, we knew he was the right surgeon to perform my face lift procedure. Couldn't be happier. Grateful to have met Dr. Hobgood.
Dr Hobgood is the textbook definition of a Top Doc. I had a cancer event that required facial plastic surgery repair. Then, adding to the adventure, I ended up being a "challenging" healer. Cannot say enough about Dr. Hobgood's knowledge, professionalism, KINDNESS. I'm so glad my cancer doc sent me to Hobgood. Such a nice man on top of being an excellent doctor. Very hard to find these days. His staff is also the same, they are very supportive and positive. THANK YOU, so so much...
Dr. Hobgood is the best. He is an expert at what he does and if you choose him for surgery, you will not need to worry or second guess anything. He is also a great person and will spend time with you, make you laugh and feel comfortable. I would recommend him a million times over.
Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!
Dr. Hobgood was very accessible...knowledgeable, kind, thorough, meticulous. He excels in all regards.
Well the doctor is very understanding and helpful....the nurses are all friendly as well....had a good experience here.
As soon as I met Dr. Hobgood I knew I wanted him to be my doctor. He is very kind, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. I feel like my new nose is the nose I was always meant to have. I can’t express how much more comfortable I am in my own skin. The only regret I have is not having found Dr. Hobgood 10 years earlier!
I have had several procedures over the years by other doctors and Dr. Hobgood is the best by far...all around great skills and bedside manner. I recommend him to all my friends and family. He and his staff are OUTSTANDING!
My experience with Dr. Hobgood and his staff had been exceptional! I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery. I made sure to follow all of the post-op instructions and I had no complications! Dr. Hobgood and his staff are extremely kind and professional. I would recommend Dr. Hobgood to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery!
Dr. Hobgood is an excellent doctor with the most caring bedside manner!

Dr. Hobgood is, by far, the most knowledgeable, most skilled, facial plastic surgeon in the Valley. I’m a doctor and trust him to perform my Botox injections. Dr. Hobgood also performed my wife’s neck lift. When it’s time for my Bleph, I’ll have Dr. Hobgood do it. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable and he uses the best equipment, like the SkinStylus microneedling system. I didn’t get anything “free “ to write this and have no reservations about recommending our own patients to Dr. Hobgood.
Seriously the best!! I got a nose job about three months ago, and the process was so much smoother than I thought it would be! Dr. Hobgood and his team are so awesome and helpful and make you feel so comfortable. Also help you understand what the process is like start to finish! I am so happy with my results highly recommend Dr. Hobgood. He is honest and straight forward with everything. Took me a long time to finally decide to do it and the one of the reasons I finally made that jump was because how amazing his vibe is and his staff. Best doctor.

I Love 5 stars!!! Thank you for supporting our team and my practice. Welcome to our Patient family! Quite literally, I view each and every patient case as the most important I will do in my career. I think you have to have this type of approach as a facial surgeon! You will inspire many! Best, Dr. Hobgood
I cannot express how amazing of an experience I had with my rhinoplasty by Dr. Hobgood. Everything from the office environment to the follow up of my recovery exceeded my expectations. I’m only 19 years old and was fairly nervous but ready for my surgery. Dr. Hobgood and his team was amazing at preparing me and ensuring that they knew exactly what I wanted. I knew going into the surgery that perfection was impossible and there were certain aspects of my nose that I knew could not be changed. I’m only 5 months post surgery and I already love the outcome of my nose and everything that Dr. Hobgood was able to give me. I’ve always struggled with my side profile and feeling confident with the nose I had. After my consultation I knew that Dr. Hobgood was going to do an amazing job and he did just that! I had a rhinoplasty as well as a deviated septum that he was able to fix, giving me symmetry and a side profile that I am so happy with. He gave me a nose that I feel so lucky to have and he did the most amazing job. I get very emotional looking at my transformation pictures but comparing then to now it’s more than just the look that I’m pleased with. I can breathe better, I feel more confident, and everything about my face just feels right. I was nervous to go through the recovery period post surgery but it was surprisingly so easy. I had no pain for the entire process and only dealt with the congestion and drainage that was more than tolerable. I also got my surgery around Christmas time and although my hardest day was anticipated to be Christmas Day, I only dealt with mild discomfort. Dr. Hobgood and his staff were amazing and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a trusted plastic surgeon for their rhinoplasty!

Almost all of my patients say that they came to see me because the reviews were so HEARTFELT! We so appreciate every word and all the time you put into sharing this story! I love the comments about imperfection that will persist! Truth is we can still gain absolute true beauty that comes from the balance and harmony in the face! Welcome to our patient family!!! Dr. Hobgood!
I had a great experience with Dr. Hobgood! He was so genuine and knew exactly what I wanted before I even had to tell him. He explained the procedures and everything else that came with it with great detail and I always felt comfortable asking any questions. His staff has always been so kind. I would not consider going to another doctor after my experience with him!

Dear Natalie! Thank you for sharing your words! It is very interesting that over the last 20 years, patients have really educated me well on what the likely goals and objectives might be. I think it is surprising how similar the goals are for patients who come to see me! We always focus on a very natural outcome that does not look different than the person, but rather complements their own natural beauty. I do love the details! I believe that this is a very important partnership. As a result, it is crucial that patients have as many details about the procedure as well as the expectations and care after surgery so they can make the very best decision for them. Thank you from me and my entire team!! Dr. Hobgood
Cannot recommend Dr. Hobgood enough. So friendly and takes the time to answer all of your questions and GREAT at what he does. I am so happy with my revision rhinoplasty (first rhinoplasty done elsewhere). The rest of the staff here is so sweet as well

THANK YOU! We all appreciate your thoughtful and happy review! Considering a team for each patient is a very personal decision. I believe the key elements patients should seek in their surgeon are training, volume of cases like yours, attention to detail, and communication. It’s ok to ask your surgeon how long they have been in practice, and how many rhinoplasties he or she has completed in their career. Be your own advocate and look for your best match. Our hope is that no one needs a revision but I am proud of what we can do for our patient family!
It has been a little over once month since my facelift surgery with Dr. Hobgood….to say that I am pleased would be an understatement! From beginning to end, the care I received from Dr. Hobgood and his incredible staff has been second to none . My surgery consisted of a lower face and neck lift, platysma plication and temporal extension. My decision to do this surgery was not quick or impulsive - I took my time and met with several surgeons. From our first meeting which was the initial consultation to our last appointment, a month past surgery – Dr. Hobgood took the time to explain everything in great detail, with great patience for all of my questions and concerns. We talked about details of the procedures and risks involved, realistic and unrealistic expectations, and while Dr. Hobgood is very confident in his skills as a surgeon he has no arrogance or attitude. His professionalism and business practices went above and beyond my expectations. I received a call from him the night prior to my surgery, the night of the surgery, a follow up by his nurse a few days later and an immediate reply to a question that I had via text. From my initial impression , those additional reasons and of course the main reason (I look fabulous 🙂 ) has given me great pleasure in knowing he was the right choice!!!

THANK YOU! From my heart we thank you for sharing your kind words! I love the details about what types of procedures can occur and what the processes might look like as we educate, and share our goals for one another. As I tell my patients, this is truly a long-term partnership! As such we need to give it the proper time, space, and careful concern to bring the patients through to their very best outcome! There is no such thing as small details in this type of work. We are so appreciate you sharing our thoughts and feelings! Welcome to our Patient family. You will inspire many! Best, Dr. Hobgood
Ashley, the nurse injector, is AMAZING. She's very kind and patient. She listens to what you want and doesn't try to upsell you on anything. You will leave your appointment with Ashley feeling confident, beautiful, and natural. I've been to her twice now, with fillers and Botox, and I've NEVER had that plastic or fake look. Everything she does is very natural looking. She took years off my face and I've had several compliments how "fresh and well rested" my face looks. If you are looking for someone who will actually listen to you and boost your confidence, Ashley is the girl you need to see!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Ashley is an amazing injector! She has such a balance of anatomical knowledge, artistry and great feel for handling the products! We are so lucky to have her on our team! Thank you for your review!
Dr. Todd Hobgood is the best in the business! I met him at the Scottsdale location, and the whole team there was welcoming and graceous from the start. I had rhinoplasty and it is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. After my consultation with him I knew I wouldn't need to continue the search. He was perfect; very detailed, skilled, artistic, amiable, intelligent, realistic, and even funny. Having thick skin, I knew I had to be realistic with my goals and he was too. I appreciated his honesty and his determination to do his best work. I love my new nose, as it looks natural and suits me perfectly. Without a doubt, he has positively impacted my life and I couldn't thank him enough. I find myself smiling a lot more now, and that’s all you! It’s been over a year since my rhinoplasty and decided to follow up on my review since most of the swelling should be done by now. I am still satisfied with the results but there is not much noticeable improvement in the tip of my nose which was my main problem. If your problem is a bulbous nose tip and you have thicker skin, then please have realistic expectations going in. Also, he does not do revision surgeries, Regardless, he IS a wonderful and skilled surgeon and I do not regret my decision.

Best to you!!!! Dr. Hobgood
As a Perioperative RN, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many talented Plastic Surgeons. I can testify that Dr. Hobgood’s level of expertise is by far superior. I did not hesitate one second entrusting him with my Rhino/Septo surgery. Wow! I will tell you that all of our patients recognize the importance of hearing from nurses who work directly with plastic surgeons. These nurses are in the best position to understand excellence in care. I am so proud to have earned your trust and confidence and appreciate your review! My team and I always do our best to set expectations realistically knowing that outcomes from all surgeries, particularly rhinoplasty, vary throughout our population. Thank you so much for sharing your kind thoughts and words! You will inspire so many.
I cannot emphasize enough in how great Dr. Hobgood is! He really cares for his patients. He listens carefully and makes sure to answer any questions and or concerns at all times. His whole team is wonderful. I got rhinoplasty done with him back in December and I am very happy with my results! I normally have a lot of anxiety and the thought of having surgery really made it worse for me. However, once I met Dr. Hobgood that anxiety went away. He really makes sure you know you are in good hands!

The last thing Debbie wanted to hear after her facial rejuvenation was, “Who is your surgeon?” She wanted to refresh her face but look natural afterwards. Dr. Hobgood listened to Debbie’s concerns and helped her achieve her desired results.

Undergoing rhinoplasty surgery was a 4-year process for Ashley. She did extensive research before choosing Dr. Hobgood as her surgeon, and couldn’t be happier with her quality of care and her results.
Dr. Todd was the second doctor I met with to discuss a potential rhinoplasty procedure. I realized without hesitation after meeting with him that if I was going to have the procedure, he was going to be my surgeon. After many years of feeling like my nose was a foreign object on my face, I now do not waste energy worrying about how to hide it. I finally like my nose, it fits my face and doesn’t feel at all unnatural. I feel like it’s the nose I was born with. The result Dr. Todd achieved is exactly what I had envisioned and hoped for, and I am grateful for his genuine caring and respect for my concerns and wishes, and his honesty about the procedure and what to expect.
….I don’t believe I expressed how happy I am at our last appointment. I am thrilled each time I look in the mirror and do not see that tired looking face from a year ago looking back at me! Thank you very much for doing such wonderful work! [My husband] and I both think you are a caring and an exceptionally skilled surgeon. How fortunate the practice is in Phoenix to have someone of your caliber joining their team.
Before I had my procedures done, I had been very self conscious of my side profile. I thought about it all the time, and I felt really flawed. I finally made the decision to have the surgery and I’m glad I did. I no longer worry about my side profile, and people know something changed about me, but they don’t know what did. They just know I look better….I really do now have a boosted self confidence because I am not preoccupied by my appearance. I don’t think I could ever thank you enough.
I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood as a doctor for your needs regarding facial plastic surgery. My skin cancer doctor suggested that [Dr. Hobgood] may be able to perform a deep skin peel or laser to improve my appearance and help prevent recurrences of future skin cancers.
Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
You are such an amazing doctor, and really treated us as not just patients, but you really got to know us on an individual level. We are both doing very well, and Rachel’s nose is gorgeous. She absolutely loves it!
Your concern and attention were very much appreciated and helped me through difficult times. I am very pleased with my results both in terms of piece of mind and the cosmetic result. I wish that all physicians were as caring and committed as you are to your patients and I would, without any hesitation, recommend you to others. You are an excellent surgeon and a very nice person.
