Absolutely Amazing. He Took Years Off My Face - Scottsdale, AZ I decided to update my review after seeing several of my patients after their return from their treatment with Dr. Hobgood. I continue to be amazed by his work. After working with some good plastic surgeons in the valley, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hobgood. I have been a patient of his for well over a year now and continue to be amazed by the results. My colleagues and patients continue to comment about how well rested and youthful I appear. The results are quite natural and not overdone. However, the true testament of his skills have been my patients' results. In working with the over 50 year old population, I have seen several patients whose treatment with Dr. Hobgood has ranged from the elective cosmetic (ex face lift) to the more demanding reconstructive treatment for deformities caused by cancerous lesions slowly eroding their face. The results have been phenomenal! There is obviously a reason that I and many of my colleagues have voted Dr. Hobgood the best facial plastic surgeon in the Valley. There are many good surgeons in Phoenix. But, if you are looking for a GREAT plastic surgeon who is a master of his craft and highly respected and trusted by his peers, then this is the one.
Best Doctor - Only One I'll Ever Trust with my Face. I wanted to eliminate the brown spots on my forehead and cheeks. Also, minimize wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. Friends tell me my skin looks smooth and youthful.
Excellent ENT - Scottsdale, AZ I had skin grafting on my eyelid when I was 15. Over time the eyelid began to droop affecting my vision. My eyes no longer were even close to matching. Dr. Hobgood removed the previous scar tissue and turned it sideways to correct the problem. He tightened my other eyelid so that both eyes would now match.

Dr Hobgood is the textbook definition of a Top Doc. I had a cancer event that required facial plastic surgery repair. Then, adding to the adventure, I ended up being a "challenging" healer. Dr. Hobgood is the best. He is an expert at what he does and if you choose him for surgery, you will not need to worry or second guess anything. He is also a great person and will spend time with you, make you laugh and feel comfortable. I would recommend him a million times over.
Doctors like this are Rare today. I was so overwhelmed with a decision I made elsewhere, before I knew better. I found Dr Hobgood through realself.com. I had a very unfortunate experience elsewhere and my previous Dr was of no help in explaining why I was having the symptoms I was. I sought out the expertise of Dr Hobgood and he was very thorough in explaining to me what I was dealing with and how we could proceed should I choose that route. I certainly wont go anywhere else in the future!!

I underwent a rhinoplasty with Dr. Hobgood earlier this year and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have been self conscious my entire life, and it was impacting my social life as well as work life. Choosing the right surgeon was so important. Dr. Hobgood is so personable he makes you feel right at home immediately. He is also extremely up front with you in his plans/limitations and expectations. I love that his philosophy in plastic surgery is to make the nose less noticeable and to make other aspects of your face pop as opposed to drawing all the attention on to their work. I was nervous and didn’t think much could be done with the shape of my nose but it turned out great! Straightened the nasal bridge, deprojection of the tip and even smaller nostril size. These are difficult techniques that he nailed. His attention to detail is outstanding and I would 10/10 recommend him for any cosmetic rhinoplasty. His staff is also amazing and so supportive.

Last Friday, I had my rhinoplasty with Todd Hobgood and had my cast removed today by the lovely, Ashley. I worry more than the average person about everything and had no idea what to expect. However, I am so grateful and ecstatic that I chose to get this procedure done with Dr. Hobgood. Not only is he extremely kind and genuine in his care for his patients, but he is also an incredibly talented surgeon. I met with several doctors for my rhinoplasty and he was just simply the best. He came recommended by other doctors I knew too. I’m glad I chose him my nose looks great. Super natural people could tell I looked different but no one knew I got my nose done! He takes his job seriously and really cares. If you are debating it, it’s worth the cost, do it!

2 weeks post op from a rhinoplasty. My nose already looks so good! Dr. Hobgood did amazing an amazing job. Really thought the staff at the surgery center including the anesthesiologist and RNs were great. Would definitely recommend choosing Dr. Hobgood as your surgeon!

Doctor Hobgood performed a VERY COMPLICATED revision rhinoplasty and a chin augmentation for me in December 2024. Now, nearly 6 months out, I feel so incredibly happy and grateful for the results. However, this journey was more than just the results, I spent hours upon hours over the course of 5 years to decide on the right doctor for this surgery - having no idea just how complicated it would be. Internally, I was facing my own shame and guilt for having another surgery, and for the pervious surgery I had 8 years prior, that was in my opinion was done incorrectly and I was blaming myself. My consultation with Doctor Hobgood and his team was better and more reassuring than I could have imagined, Doctor Hobgood was real and honest about the complicated side of the revision rhinoplasty and the “imperfect” results I could have, but gave confidence in his ability to improve my appearance regardless, it never felt like a sales pitch of any sort, I felt like he gave me all the facts and left the ball in my court to make the decision on the surgery without trying to push me one way or another - something I really valued. He also professionally validated my feelings towards the pervious surgery - which internally relieved a lot of my shame and guilt and made me feel understood and less alone in my own thoughts towards it, while I also thought it was professional and classy he did to not bash another surgeon, he just medically and professionally explained what was done wrong. Doctor Hobgood addressed everything I had wanted adjusted with my appearance in a complimentary manner with the most kindness and consideration, and truthfully, I left the consultation feeling more confident and secure with my appearance, even if I didn’t move forward with the surgery. A day before surgery day I was impressed and relieved to receive a personal phone call from Doctor Hobgood (on a Sunday evening), checking in on my well being and easing the nerves for the day ahead, it was very thoughtful and reassuring. Surgery Day - a very anxious day, I was greeted by Doctor Hobgood with a warm hug, true human connection in a world that seems to be lacking in that field lately. That hug alone helped ease my nerves and reminded me I was in the right hands of someone who truly cared about my well being, not just another work day or a paycheck. The entire team working with Doctor Hobgood that day was full of good energy, joking and laughing with each other, all seeming to be happy to be there, which created a safe and comfortable environment for me. Following up after the surgery Doctor Hobgood’s team did an amazing job at checking in and following up on any needs or concerns I had. The team of ladies that Doctor Hobgood has working with him were all so warm and kind throughout the entire process, every time I called or entered the office they all greeted me with genuine kindness and made me feel so special and cared for, feeling like I was the only patient they had. It made me look forward to entering the office, rather than being fearful of judgment. At my follow up I declined to share my before and after photos on social media because I am very private and don’t have social media myself, this decision felt like it would be something that could potentially upset a Doctor in this field, however Doctor Hobgood personally validated and respected my choice in doing so and even had a genuine conversation validating my thoughts and beliefs towards it, which was so refreshing. Following up from surgery and my results being 1000% better than the “imperfect” results I could have imagined, I feel so blessed and grateful that I chose Doctor Hobgood and his team to work with and, in return, that they chose me. Before I had my procedures done, I had been very self conscious of my side profile. I thought about it all the time, and I felt really flawed. I highly recommend Dr. Hobgood as a doctor for your needs regarding facial plastic surgery. My skin cancer doctor suggested that [Dr. Hobgood] may be able to perform a deep skin peel or laser to improve my appearance and help prevent recurrences of future skin cancers.
Dr. Hobgood is a rare type of doctor. He really takes an interest in his patients. He has made several calls to my home to personally check on me; most of these calls were made on his own time either in the evenings or on the weekend. He tries to adjust his schedule to make it easier to see the people who need to see him. If you are looking for a skilled and caring doctor, look no further. Dr. Todd is number one! I just wish he were still in Columbus.
You are such an amazing doctor, and really treated us as not just patients, but you really got to know us on an individual level. We are both doing very well, and Rachel’s nose is gorgeous. She absolutely loves it!
